Phosphate Management Products

Phosphate Management Products in early-stage development target the treatment of hyperphosphatemia in order to improve the control of SHPT in CKD patients. Cytochroma is exploring several alternative approaches to managing hyperphosphatemia in CKD patients.  These products are being designed to inhibit the intestinal absorption of phosphate into the body.  Some of these products have demonstrated proof of concept in one animal species and currently are undergoing further evaluation in a uremic animal model.
