Business Strategy:

Cytochroma intends to leverage its proven expertise in the discovery, development and commercialization of new Vitamin D therapies to rapidly commercialize multiple products in large and growing markets. Key elements of the Company’s strategy include:

• Developing lead products as new Vitamin D prescription therapies for indications associated with CKD;
• Building a fully-integrated pharmaceutical company, including a North American commercialization infrastructure targeting nephrologists and dialysis clinics;
• Leveraging the Company’s Vitamin D intellectual property to establish a dominant position in the Company’s core areas;
• Establishing partnerships with ex-North American pharmaceutical companies at the appropriate times to maximize the value of pipeline products;
• Building upon the Company’s network of Key Opinion Leaders in nephrology and Vitamin D therapeutics as well as proven management expertise to selectively and opportunistically acquire new CKD product candidates; and
• Reducing development risk and costs by out-licensing non-core product candidates to commercialization partners worldwide.
