SAS Programmer -
Bannockburn, Illinois
The SAS programmer will report to the Executive
Director of Biometrics and will be responsible for the development
of standard SAS Macros and Programs consistent with standard
programming practices to design and develop Tables, Listings
and Graphs as outlined in the Clinical Study Protocol and/or
Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP).
KEY Responsibilities:
- Assist in building programming infrastructure
- Develop
program to review and construct analysis datasets
- Participate
in checking data quality, writing data management edit checks
and analyses ensuring accurate presentation of data
- Develop
and comply with programming standard operating procedures
- Develop
Tables, Listing and Graphs using Proc Report or Data _null_
as designed in the SAP
- Work closely with study statistician
to implement protocol methodology and statistical plan to
assure timely and accurate, complete and consistent analyses
- Develop
and use validated SAS macros to write SAS code with proper
documentation
- Contribute to the development of regulatory
submissions and clinical documents including, CRFs, CSRs,
integrated summaries and support documents including operations
manuals and guidelines as deemed necessary
- Exercise judgment
within generally defined practices and policies in selecting
methods and techniques and communications to management
Skills & Qualifications
- MS degree with 3+ yrs of relevant experience
- Experience
with pharmaceutical industry standards and have at least
3 years of experience in Phase I, II and/or III drug development
programs
- Strong work ethics and experience with
SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/SQL and SAS/GRAPH.
- Familiarity with
SAS/Stat is highly desired.
- Possess good communication skills
- Interact
effectively with the clinical team and regulatory as needed
- Ability
to work independently while requiring limited detailed direction.
- Less
than 5% travel
