DOCUMENTATION ADMINISTRATOR - Markham location


Reporting to the Director, Clinical Operations, the successful candidate will provide general administrative support to the Clinical and Regulatory departments.

Essential Duties:

  • Plan and organize internal and external meetings and teleconferences
  • Arrange for airline travel, car and hotel reservations
  • Assist in completion of expense reports
  • Liaise with CROs, clinical sites, Clinical Investigators and others, as required
  • General administrative duties (photocopying, mailings, etc.)
  • Maintain paper-based and electronic files for Clinical and Regulatory departments
  • Ability to develop and maintain indexing and filing system for Clinical and Regulatory documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Receive, identify and file documentation in accordance with filing system
  • Scan paper documentation according to established processes
  • Generate listings of documents received and filed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably in a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology environment
  • College-level Diploma in related discipline
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Computer/word-processing and spreadsheet software experience, in a Microsoft Office environment
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Quality oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to excellence and teamwork
